Svartrökarna is a small charkuteri located in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm. They are specialized in high quality meat without any unnecessary E numbers and additives. For the last month we've been working with their new webpage and Facebook page. The goal was to boost their sales and get people to visit their Facebook and website even more.
The world of microcontroller electronics opened up wide a few years ago with the introduction of the Arduino Platform - a hobbyist engineering-kit featuring a fully programmable micro-computer with analog and digital inputs and outputs. The arduino platform allowed hobby engineers to create completely customized and relatively complex setups with digital control over lights, servos/motors, displays, sound and networking with ease. The tech was basically a modern, shrunk down version '80s tech (performance-wise) but being able to code your own functions and playing with the results using only an arduino, a breadboard and a bunch of cables and random components, opened up previously unheard of possibilities for hobbyists.
The arduino was just the beginning and it didn't take long for improved clone-platforms like the Raspberry Pi and Intel Gallileo and Edison (to mention just a few of dozens of platforms). In contrast to the Arduino, the Pi and many others featured newer ARM-based, 32 bit processors like those found in modern smartphones - as opposed to the 8-16 MHz, 8 bit processor of the Arduino. At SuperMegaCorp - we often use many of these platforms for our crazy engineering-projects.

Featuring one of the most comprehensive collections of training videos in the field of prop-making, traditional artistry and more than anything; the fusion of softbody objects with mechanical- and/or electronic control systems, Stan Winston's School of Character Arts is your one-stop-shop for developing new production skills!
The school was founded by Stanley "Stan" Winston and has recently started offering online subscription courses at stanwinstonschool.com. Stanley is best known for his work in creating the visual effects of Terminator, the Jurassic Park-films, the first two Predator-films, Aliens, Iron Man and many many more titles. Below are just a few preview-videos from the Stan Winston youtube-channel. Make sure to check out the youtube-channel and website for more!
So lately we've been working on a project for Apotek Hjärtat. We were a part of making an interactive face morphing tool, for use in a storefront installation and web campaign.
One of our biggest parts in the project was to research if it was possible to create the tool, and it was. With help from the German developer that created the face tracking tool Beyond reality face, we managed to add a distortion overlay that morphed faces into babies.
The digital production studio State interactive fine tuned the tool, and made it integrated in Apotek Hjärtats webpage.
Here below you can see some of the people working with project bebifierade.
As I mentioned above the campaign also included a storefront installation in Täby Centrum (Stockholm). As you can see below the installation consisted of a 65" display with a camera mounted on top. So when you stand in front of the display the camera will film you and morph your face.
If you haven't had the chance to experience the bebification, visit Täby Centrum as soon as possible or visit Apotek Hjärtats website.
Below is a video from the event in Täby Centrum.
Are you a fan of old arcade games? Well now you have a chance to play Pacman, Galaga and Space Invaders at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport. If you have any kind of leftover coin, Swedish or Foreign, just put it in the machine and play. All the money will go to the Red Cross.
I love the whole idea! If you're traveling soon be sure to check them out!
Åkestam Holst made these beauties together with Swedavia Swedish Airports and Swedish Red Cross.
This winter we made a collaborative project with Fredrik & Friends for the company Gransegel.
The assignment was to create a beautiful advertisement movie where the customer could get a peak into the workflow of sail making. We had the pleasure of working with the post production part of the project (color grading, camera tracking, screen replacement, etc).
Produced by: Fredrik & Friends
Direction and photo: Mini Gemoll
Music: Björn Baumann
Post production: SuperMegaCorp
Sail maker 1: Kent Wretman
Sail maker 2: Christoffer Hellman
Producer: Fredrik Röjås
This is a full 3D video that was made by the amazing Alex Roman. It's a mix of old assembled material that he made in the past years and new material that he made just for this movie. He is a huge inspiration in my own works, how he can make light and color mesmerize you.
Watch and enjoy!
Here's an interview they did with Alex about the idea and making of this video.
In order to give futher insight into what (and how) we do what we do, we've decided to make a short behind-the-scenes or Making-of video. This 4 minute video illustrates the creation of an Absolom Roché Rococo bench to be used in a short animation sequence. I hope you like it!
